Popular Toddler TV Shows

Happy Wednesday everyone,
So as parents when our children start getting older we start introducing them to TV shows. Lets be honest there are some we can tolerate and then there are some that we just cannot stand to watch but unfortunately our kids love them. Lets talk about some of the popular tv shows shall we? These are in no particular order.
A favorite in my house is Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Honestly, this show isn't too bad to watch. I've been forced to watch Mickey since my son was about 6 months old. I accidentally turned it on one morning while he was bouncing in his little bouncer and he's been hooked ever since. Basically, Mickey has taken over our lives. But I don't mind it. Its not one of those annoying tv shows that goes on and on about the same subject. It actually engages our kids to get interactive with the show. However, I don't think they are continuing to make new episodes as I've seen literally all the episodes they've ever made about 10x each if not more. But hey, its Mickey.. who doesn't love Mickey Mouse?
The beloved Paw Patrol. I'll be honest here, I was so nervous about getting my kids into this tv show. I thought the show was going to so annoying. One morning while I was making breakfast this show came on and my kids were glued to the tv screen. I actually found myself watching this show with them! I couldn't believe what I was doing.. actually watching a kids tv show? Ever since then my kids have been hooked. My 3 year old now begs for Paw Patrol now. I even found myself buying Paw Patrol DVDS and toys whenever I saw them in the store. Oh yeah, it isn't just a kids obsession it is mine too!! Every time I go to Wal-Mart I have to check to see if they have the little cars in...so yeah, I personally love this tv show.
Spongebob; many of you will disagree with me here. But I hate Spongebob and yes I was the generation that grew up with him. I hated him when I was younger and I still hate him now. I cannot stand his laugh or the many stupid things that he does. I hate this show so much I refuse to let my kids watch this when I'm around. I just... can't stand Spongebob! I know, I must be crazy but to each their own right?
Bubble Guppies, the cute little mermaid children. My kids just recently started watching this show. Honestly, it IS cute. Who doesn't like a little mermaid dog named Bubble Puppy right? But have you actually sat down and watched this show? They have some really weird things that as adults you're like what? A frog in the ocean eating flies... A hairdryer under the water? There's a few things that will make you laugh about this tv show. Kids love it and you'll get a laugh too at some of things on here. Its not a favorite in my household but its a good go to tv show when Spongebob is on our favorite channel.
Ah, Lion Guard. I honestly wish this was more of a hit in my house. I love this show, ts a tv show I can actually stand to sit through. However, my kids just don't seem that interested in it. Growing up I loved The Lion King so this spin off with Simba's son is just too cute to not try to get your kids into. I don't have much to say about this one as its more of a show that I enjoy rather then the kids but hey... its worth mentioning!
Up next is PJ Masks. This just recently started coming on when my kids are allowed tv time. I haven't really sat down to watch this show too much as I'm usually making lunch or dinner but this seems to really draw the kids in. The kids will be playing and when this comes on they immediately stop what they are doing and watch this. Not sure what it is about this show but they love it. The bits and pieces I've seen of it are very cute and would recommend for any age.
If your kids love monster cars then they will absolutely love this tv show. I found this show on a fluke, I was looking at Paw Patrol dvds at Wal-Mart (see... i'm obsessed) when Blaze was right next Paw Patrol. I had never seen this tv show before and it immediately reminded me of Aidan and Atlas. As soon as I got home I went to YouTube to find an episode and sure enough the kids loved it! This show has become so popular in my house the kids will sometimes pick this over Mickey Mouse AND Paw Patrol!! We've even started collecting Blaze toys. This show is too cute, every animal is a monster truck, like little monster truck frogs and bears, just to name a few. If you haven't seen this show I suggest to at least YouTube it and see for yourself at how adorable this tv show is.
Little Einsteins is to great to not mention. I love this show so much, whenever its on I'm guilty of sitting down and watching it with my boys. Everything about this tv show is too perfect. The opening song will get stuck in your head but its not a bad song to actually be singing throughout the day.
This is a newer TV show. Mickey and the Roadster Racers. My kids were so excited for this show to come on we woke up early for the premiere. It wasn't at all what we thought it was going to be. Don't get me wrong, its a great tv show with the Mickey Mouse gang and the graphics are much better than Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. But its definitely not all about racing, cars or even Mickey for that matter. If you've ever seen Minnie's Bow Show you will notice that its a spin off from that little "filler show"(filler show is a mini show to help fill in the times in between tv shows if the show ended early) First part of of the series is about racing and then the second part is more about Minnie and Daisy running around doing some errands and singing a badly tuned song. It had my kids attention for the first part of the show and then their attention span trailed off when Minnie and Daisy took over. Its really not a terrible series, just not what was advertised and the kids love the first part of the show. So we have a love hate relationship with the series.
These are just a few of the popular tv shows that I've seen lately. I know there are a TON but we honestly don't watch that much tv in my house so I only catch the shows on when we're cooking. I'd love to hear about some of your kids popular shows to watch!
